2008 : highs and lows

This new year has started on a lower note. After a terrible computer crash, most of the sounds made in 2007 (and left unpublished) have disappeared forever. Nonetheless, most tracks to be featured on "Imperious" are safe, except "Helmet For The Headless" (lost).

Meaningless to say this incident left me devastated.

Anyways I decided to go back to work and make new material and experiment new sound directions !

This late winter 2007 will see the launching of a brand new Camisole split release : "Trinity On Tritherapy".

The idea was at first to gather two other bands along with a long Camisole track aptly titled " Trinity On Tritherapy" (composed and recorded about a year ago, but never released since then), to make it a sort of an "unholy trinity", with an approximate timing of 66 minutes. These two bands quickly turn out to be Leiche Rustikal (known for his great releases on Steinklang) and the French Stigma Diabolicum (ambient side project of Zaragh Baal Tharag). Then I was contacted by a lot of other bands willing also to join the fun. So I decided to make two versions of this release and put them out on Bone Structure. The first one will be the 3xsplit, limited to 100 copies, the second a 3xCdr boxset featuring the 3Xsplit on the first disc and on the two others various contributions by acts such as Ctephin, Grim Pig, Chaos Research, Dissonnant Fallacies, Subklinik, Chapelle Nitrinique, One Lifeless Eye, Ethereic Void, Testing Vault, Ouroboros etc. I really appreciate this whole project and I'm sure a lot of dark drone addicts will enjoy, no matter which version they picked up, actually.


Camisole will also appear on the next Skulline compilation (scheduled for March 2008), with a new & unreleased track.

some news

Camisole has composed 2 unreleased tracks ("Untitled II" & "Domination District") that will appear on an upcoming tape compilation by the French label Inquisitoris Ex Mundus Novus. The tape will be called "Extermination Room" and will feature 4 other bands next to Camisole: Group Therapy, Toxicum Aestus, Gnaw Their Tongues and a yet to confirm band.


But first I'm gonna re-record the vocal parts for the upcoming debut album. There will be some on "Church Of None" (with Saint Ov Gravedigger's backings), "Locust Infestation" and some female whispers on the final track.

Then I'll finish the split track with A.E.P. called "The Attic Dweller" (feat. vocals by M.H from Chaos Moon/Temple Of Ascension).

The 4 tracks for the Camisole/Kult split has been sent to Kult, this will finally come out as a simple disc, not a 2xCdr like it was originally planned. My Mrok-split track has been also submitted, it is suspended until further contact has been established.

My remix for Melek-Tha has been cancelled.
